Relaxing and home from home ! Great communication with the booking company . Will return . Positive: Great location very quiet . Lovely grounds and good parking . Loved the patio doors onto a courtyard with a fountain .

Could be exceptional but... Positive: Beautiful location, easy check in and out Negative: Generally the house was clean and well presented however there were way too many cobwebs and spiders (I caught 4 and put them outside) Cobwebs on the lights, in the corners of the room & also on the stair case (see photo) Walking on the carpeted areas you could feel that they hadn't been hoovered well - lots of grit on them. The toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom was loose and moved overtime you sat on it and the upstairs en suite toilet actually moved from the wall every time you sat on it - it was loose on the wall - it's a wall hung toilet and clearly the bolts need tightening. The ensuite shower was dangerously slippery and we weren't given enough towels - we were only given bath towels - no hand towels or bath mats.

With a few tweaks this could be a fantastic place to stay Positive: Great location, beautiful scenery. Good comfortable beds Negative: Dusty skirting boards, chandelier on landing full of cobwebs, hairdryer needs replacing only cold air, not enough cups or glasses. Had to ask for additional baking trays as there weren’t any. No scissors.
